The Floating Market

Normally a floating market is as like as a temporary market. Again in some places some people sell their items where their business is illegal. Sometimes the police drive them away from that places. This type of market may also be called floating markets. But in our text it is a different one. It is not like the above mentioned markets. It is a famous market in Bangkok. As it is situated on water, it is called the floating market. It is known by Sabina’s grandfather’s visit to Thailand. Once he stayed Bankok with his Thai friend, Niran. There are many canals in Bankok. Sabina’s grandfather traveled around the city during his stay there. He also traveled the canals. The canals are called ‘Klongs’ The Klongs are peaceful and quiet. So Sabina’s grand father liked them very much. One day he traveled with his friend, Niran on a large klong. He saw something strange there and it was a large market in the middle of the Klong. It was the famous floating market of Bangkok. Actually this type of market is very rare in the world and may be it is the only floating market in the world.
